Alexander Malcomson was coal dealer in Detroit in the very early years of the 20th century. He was the co-founder of Ford Motor Company and instrumental in gathering the other shareholders in 1903. Malcomson was also responsible for bringing James Couzens to Ford, arguably the most significant hire in American corporate history.
